Product Overview

This Vairocana Buddha Mini Thangka Pendant features a single-sided, purely hand-painted Tibetan miniature thangka on the front, housed in an ornate gold-plated copper Gawu box.

The front presents Vairocana Buddha painted according to classical thangka principles, while the back is finished with an embossed metal Dharma Wheel–inspired ritual relief, not a painting. This structure reflects an authentic and traditional Gawu design, favored for its durability, ritual correctness, and suitability for long-term wear.

Created as a portable sacred image, this piece is intended for meditation, travel, personal devotion, or altar placement—not as ordinary jewelry, but as a meaningful spiritual object.

Each pendant is individually hand-painted, making every piece unique.

Vairocana Buddha – Light, Wisdom & Universal Compassion

Vairocana Buddha, revered as the Great Sun Buddha, symbolizes supreme wisdom, universal truth, and all-pervading light.

As the central and highest Buddha of Esoteric Buddhism and the head of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, Vairocana represents:

  • The ultimate nature of reality

  • Primordial wisdom beyond duality

  • Compassionate clarity and inner stability

Traditionally, devotion to Vairocana Buddha is associated with dispelling ignorance, calming inner confusion, and cultivating insight and courage to move forward with clarity.

Zodiac & Horoscope Guardianship

This pendant is traditionally regarded as a personal guardian Buddha, especially aligned with:

  • Chinese Zodiac: Goat (Sheep), Monkey

  • Western Zodiac: Leo, Aquarius

Often chosen by individuals seeking wisdom-based guidance, mental clarity, and spiritual grounding during important life stages.

Front Artwork – Hand-Painted Mini Thangka

  • Single-sided, pure hand-painted artwork (not printed)

  • Depicts Vairocana Buddha seated in meditation on a lotus throne

  • Rich mineral pigments with layered colors and fine detailing

  • Balanced square composition symbolizing stability and completeness

The artwork follows authentic Tibetan thangka discipline, adapted into a refined, portable format.

Back Design – Metal Dharma Wheel Ritual Relief

The reverse side of the Gawu box features a raised metal Dharma Wheel–inspired ritual relief, crafted as part of the metal structure rather than painted.

This symbol represents:

  • The Buddha’s teachings and the path of awakening

  • Order, balance, and continuity of wisdom

  • Ritual protection and spiritual safeguarding

This type of metal backplate is commonly used in traditional Gawu boxes to provide structural strength and ritual integrity, making it especially suitable for daily wear and travel.
